I have always thought of Havana, Cuba as a laboratory for entropy. But during a trip through South Dakota some years ago I discovered another rich source of photographs for this project.

While driving down US highway 14 in the eastern part of the state, I was delighted to find this old carnival ride abandoned near the highway.
