Kallitype & Salted Paper Prints
Minor White, a great photographer whose work I admire, once said, "don't just photograph something for what it is, photograph it for what else it is." I have always appreciated this advice and apply it when I can.
This photograph depicts small streams of water cascading over a small cliff. But when I saw the finished print in the darkroom, it also reminded me of light filtering through openings in the ceiling of a cave.
