Cyanotype
Rather than apply the light-sensitive cyanotype coating and allowing it to dry, in the "wet cyanotype" process the coating is applied very liberally and carelessly to the paper. Assorted botanicals are laid on the paper before it can dry, and I then "season" the paper with tumeric, wood ashes, and other things. The assemblage is placed under glass and left in the sun to develop for an our up to an entire day. The outcome is unique and unpredictable.
